
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl
A slightly sweet breakfast-in-a-bowl perfect for ushering in the classic flavors of autumn.

Ingredients
- ½ cup canned pumpkin puree, unsweetened
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 ripe banana, cut into slices, frozen
- 2 tablespoons almond or peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice*, or to taste
- Optional garnishes: small amounts of chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, nuts or berries.
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl, and top with optional garnishes as desired.

Pumpkin Spice Seasoning Mix*
If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice at home, make it with spices you may already have on hand.
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cloves
